Couple reveals ‘life-changing’ bedding ‘hack’ for cover-hoggers

by

This trend will finally put the cover-hogger issue to bed.

A TikTok couple revealed their way to make sure that one partner does not end up with all the covers while sleeping while the other is left to freeze.

And this so-called “hack” has left viewers calling it “life-changing.”

The hack — which they said is “European bedding style” — allows both partners to each use their own duvet in order to avoid couples arguing over who steals the covers, as seen in a TikTok with nearly 470,000 views.

According to 25-year-old Cecilia Blomdahl, people who wish to take part in the trend need to start with a fitted sheet before placing two duvet covers overlapping in the middle of the bed, with only a quarter of the blanket hanging off.

Allegedly, the “hack” also helps both partners feel comfortable with different temperatures.

The “European bedding style” is commonplace in Scandinavian countries such as Norway, Denmark and Sweden.

The Post reached out to Blomdahl for comment.

This bedding revelation has caused quite a stir among those who live outside of Europe.

“Honestly the first time I experienced 2 duvets was in Iceland and it was LIFECHANGING,” said one user.

“This is how my husband and I do it too here in America, we can not share one blanket we have to have at least two for our sanity,” chimed in another.

“We recently got two duvets and it’s been the best choice for the longevity of our marriage,” joked another.
