The following items were taken from Morton Grove Police Department bulletins. An arrest does not constitute a finding of guilt.

Terrance Allen, 28, of the 12000 block of Aberdeen Avenue, Calumet Park, was charged Nov. 8 with driving on a suspended driver’s license at the intersection of Major Avenue and Carol Street, police said. A court date is set for Dec. 21.

Syed Akbar, 43, of the 9000 block of Skokie Avenue, Skokie, was charged Nov. 7 with driving on a revoked driver’s license at the intersection of Dempster Street and Waukegan Road, police said. A court date is set for Dec. 21.

Jeremiah Hutchinson, 23, of the 4900 block of Crain Street, Skokie, was charged Nov. 6 with resisting a police officer at the intersection of Dempster and Austin Streets, police said. A court date is set for Dec. 5.

Afenia Wolf, 25, of the 600 block of 16th Street, Maywood, was charged Nov. 4 with driving without a valid driver’s license at the intersection of Dempster Street and Lehigh Avenue, police said.

Burglary

Three unknown subjects took several bottles of liquor, cigarettes and some money from a liquor store on the 9200 block of Waukegan Road Nov. 7, police said.

The front door of a business on the 9200 block of Waukegan Road was shattered and one empty cash register was taken from the business Nov. 7, police said.

A rear side window and a wood plank in a sliding door on a home on the 7400 block of Arcadia Avenue were both damaged and the house itself ransacked, with money and jewelry taken Oct. 30, police said.

A vehicle parked on the 9000 block of Oleander Avenue was broken into and rummaged through Nov. 7, with a small wallet and sandals taken and thrown into the street, police said.

Five unknown subjects took a Ford Mustang from an abandoned building on the 5900 block of Oakton Street Nov. 7, police said.

Fraud

A complainant who was attempting to buy a kitten sent money to the supposed seller, but then became suspicious of the transaction and reported the incident, police said.

Criminal trespass

A vehicle parked on the 9200 block of National Avenue was broken into and rummaged through Nov. 7, though nothing appeared to be taken, police said.

Criminal damage

A vehicle parked on the 5400 block of Keeney Street had its side window broken Nov. 9, police said.

Theft

A vehicle parked on the 5900 block of Cleveland Avenue was taken Nov. 8, police said.

A car parked on the 5700 block of Church Street was taken by two to three unknown subjects driving a Land Rover Nov. 7, police said, and that car was then used in two other burglaries in neighboring suburbs.

Identity Theft

A complainant residing on the 9300 block of Waukegan Road stated someone had taken money from her bank account and gotten a new SIM card with her telephone number Nov. 4, police said.

Police said a complainant residing on the 8800 block of Austin Avenue stated someone tried to use his Amazon account to buy a laptop. He also stated that someone used his Home Depot card to make purchases and that his Chase bank account was hacked, police said.
